Whether you an undergraduate or graduate student or a former student returning to Appalachian for readmission, you will find completing an application for an App State Online program requires just a few simple steps.

Undergraduate Admissions

Unleash your potential and get your undergraduate degree with App State Online. If you are a current high school senior or haven't attended college since graduating high school, you will complete a first-year application. If you have completed college coursework since graduating high school, you will complete a transfer application.

Graduate Admissions

App State Online offers graduate degree programs designed to meet the needs of the busy professional planning the next step in their career. Led by renowned faculty, our programs offer great quality and value. Earning your master’s degree will prepare you for your next promotion and give you a competitive edge in the job market.

Returning Students

All students who "stop out" for one or more Spring/Fall semester(s) must apply for readmission to the university. If you are interested in returning to start or complete one of our programs, refer to the Office of the Registrar to create a readmission application.

If you are an undergraduate student and wish to return under one of the University's Forgiveness Policies, please review the Academic Probation and Suspension Policies.
